Successful businesses don’t just fall from the sky. To build a business requires a lot of hard work and headaches, the biggest of which must be how to finance it.
Once again, you must have guessed it, network marketing swoops in to save the day. It is so important to remember that when joining a network marketing company, the system is already in place! You don’t need to worry about which product you are going to sell, how you will get it manufactured or distributed, whether to set up shop online or bricks and mortar or any of the other challenges that entrepreneurs face when starting out. All of these will necessitate what makes most start-ups hair stand on end – start-up capital! But tap into an existing system and that headache disappears like vetkoek at a braai!
If you choose a reputable company with seasoned business people at the helm, your chance to succeed in building a lucrative business within a business is much better. It will still require a lot of hard work, but at least the unforeseen problems will be dealt with on your behalf and you will get support with the tasks that are your responsibility. Unlike when building your own business where your competitors can’t wait for you to fail, here you will have a team of dedicated people who are only too happy to see you succeed. And all of this comes with almost no risk because you are not required to sell your birthright to raise start-up capital.
It is usually a combination of factors that make businesses fail. I refer to some of these in my article The Most Misunderstood Market. The same reasons apply for failure in network marketing, but because you are supported by a team who cares for your business’ well being, your chance to rebuild it is so much better.
Another advantage is that you can build a network marketing business flexi-time. It reduces the risk even more. However, the greatest advantage in my opinion, is that you learn the skills necessary to build a business and that you will be able to generate funds to start the business of your dreams. If you are able to build a network marketing business with a decent recurring income, it is an asset that you would be able to sell to generate even more funds. Or you could choose to keep it to sustain a good cash flow for the inevitable difficult months in all businesses.
And that is to say if, after you have been able to build a solid recurring income which will offer you more free time, too, you still want to go ahead and start a brand new business!
