I am absolutely blown away when anybody tells me they “don’t know any people”! My friend, if you are one of those, you have a problem – we will all eventually need 6 pall bearers to carry our coffin!
Jokes aside, more often the actual problem is that you might feel embarrassed to let anybody know that you actually would like to improve your cashflow. The truth is, all your friends, family and acquaintances would love to have a better cashflow! 65% of all South Africans cannot repay their debt on a regular basis. So, you might be offering them the opportunity they were praying for!
Now, just in case you really don’t know any people, this might be a good opportunity to get to know more people. When you start serving people, you attract more people. So you never need to worry that you might offend people. You can only offend people when you are selfish and want to benefit alone. Network marketing is designed that you should help others, and in so doing, you will earn. You can read a little bit more about it in my most recent article The Most Misunderstood Market.
Furthermore, in South Africa there are more than 60 million people, many of which could really use a financial break. The opportunity to connect with people who are looking for an opportunity to earn more money is vast. That is if you are committed to finding them so it comes down to your attitude about the perceived problem – and not the problem itself. It only depends on you getting your mindset right and the ability to be persistent! And, by the way, knowing people does not necessarily mean being close friends! You will never know whether an acquaintance may need the opportunity you are offering, until you ask.
